What Carly can and can't touch in Procore
Carly works through Procore's REST API, so her reach is exactly the API's reach. Daily logs are fully writable — notes, manpower, weather, and daily construction report entries can all be created and updated. RFIs can be created, replied to, and advanced to the next ball-in-court. Punch items can be created, updated, commented on, and emailed to the responsible sub. Change events, potential change orders, and prime and commitment change orders all support create and update. Meetings and meeting topics are writable. Photos can be uploaded to the project.
Submittals can be created and updated, and their status, ball-in-court, and due dates read on demand. The approve/reject response endpoints are still beta in Procore's API, so treat submittal decisions as something you review in Procore rather than something Carly executes.
Schedule activities are read-only in the API — schedule data flows into Procore through P6 or MS Project imports, not through the API, so Carly can report on schedule data but can't rewrite an activity. Drawings can be read and referenced; uploading a new drawing set is a multi-step publish flow rather than a one-message request. Where Carly can't write, she says so instead of guessing.
