Inbox triage
Morning Gmail summary in Slack
Carly reads your unread Gmail every weekday morning and DMs you the top five things that need attention — so you start the day with a plan, not an inbox.
The prompt
Every weekday at 8am, read my unread Gmail from the last 24 hours, identify the five most important threads, and DM me a Slack summary with one-line context for each plus a suggested next action.

Frequently asked
How does Carly decide what's 'important'?
By default she looks at sender importance (people you reply to often), recency, and urgent keywords. You can override the criteria — 'only emails from customers' or 'only threads where I'm explicitly asked a question'.
Can the summary include Outlook instead of Gmail?
Yes. Swap Gmail for Outlook in the prompt. Same prompt works for both.
What if I want the summary by email instead of Slack?
Replace 'DM me a Slack summary' with 'send me an email summary' and Carly will route it there.
Will Carly mark the emails as read?
No. By default Carly only reads — she won't archive, mark as read, or delete anything unless you ask her to.
