How to Auto-Post Your Blog to Facebook with AI
Posting every new blog article to Facebook by hand is exactly the kind of repetitive marketing chore that quietly slips. In this 3-minute walkthrough, you'll build a no-code Carly workflow that watches your site's RSS feed, hands each new post to an AI step that writes a catchy caption, and publishes it straight to your Facebook page — automatically, every day. You'll set it up step by step (instead of just copying the prompt) so you can see exactly how each piece connects, tweak the AI instructions to match your voice, and confirm a real post lands on Facebook before you walk away.

Start from the "blog post to Facebook post" template
In Carly, click New Workflow. You can start from scratch with the plus button, but it's faster to start from a template — search "Facebook" and choose the blog post to Facebook post template. You can press Copy prompt and hand the whole thing to Carly chat to build it for you, but here we'll set it up by hand so every step is visible.

Point it at your blog's feed
In the first step, enter the website you want to fetch from. Carly automatically finds the RSS feed for your blog. You're not limited to your own site — you can use almost any website, a subreddit, or even search any topic in natural language to pull dedicated news articles about it. For this build, point it at your own blog.

Preview the items and set the schedule
Carly pulls in your recent posts so you can preview exactly what it found — confirm it's grabbing the right article. Set it to look for new items every day so it only ever posts genuinely new content.

Let the AI step write the caption
The next step sends each post to an AI module that writes a catchy headline for Facebook. By default it uses just the title and summary, but you can feed it as much of the full article as you like. Carly shows you exactly what text was sent and what it wrote back so there's no guesswork.

Tune the AI instructions to your voice
Don't like the output? Open the step's instructions and add a rule — for example, "no emojis" — then rerun it on the same post to see the new caption instantly. Repeat until it sounds the way you want.

Choose your Facebook page and preview the post
In the final step, pick which Facebook page to publish to (Carly lists the pages you've connected). Preview the post to see exactly what will go out — the link, the message text, and where it lands.

Save, run it now to test, then let it run daily
Save the workflow — it appears under Ungrouped in your workflows list. Click Run now to test it immediately, open Details to confirm it succeeded, and check Facebook: your post is live with the link, photo, and caption. From now on, every day Carly looks at that day's new posts and publishes them to Facebook automatically, so you never add posts by hand again.

This is our first video on how to automate your marketing task with Carly AI. Carly AI is an email assistant and workflow automation builder that lets you set up reliable agents and workflows very quickly. First we're going to come over here, press new workflow and you can start by pressing plus and doing it yourself or you can start using one of our templates. So I'm going to search Facebook and we're going to look for one that is blog post to Facebook post. So this one. So again one thing you could do is press copy prompt, copy this prompt and send it to Carly or using Carly chat. I'm going to just do this by hand so we can see exactly step by step how to set this up. The first thing I'm going to do is put in the website that I want to fetch from. So in this case I'm going to put in the blog and it will automatically find the RSS feed. You can also use basically any website on the internet. You can use a subreddit but also search any topic in natural language to be able to pull dedicated news articles about that topic. For this example I want to pull from my own site and then we're going to send it directly to Facebook. So as you can see here it's pulled one of the articles that we've posted today. So I can just preview what it is and I want to look for new items every day. The second step is we're going to take all this text and send it to this AI module which is going to look at what we send it which in this case is just going to be the title and summary but we can also put all of the content here. We put as little as much as we like but just based off of these two short things it should write some catchy headline about what we published. So it's done it right here. Okay and it looks good and just to verify we can see exactly what it was being sent. If I want to change this I might say actually no emojis so I'll just go up to instructions and say no emojis. After we do that we can just rerun it on the same thing to see what it looks like. So here I just redid it and there are no emojis so this looks great. I'm going to move to the next step. The last part is just choosing which Facebook page you want to post on. I'm going to choose the only one I have linked up and we could just preview the post here. So it's going to show here's the link we're going to want it to put in. This is the message and then this is just where it's going to post it. So I'm going to press save workflow. Now I'm going to go and find it under ungrouped and I want to just run it right now to see if it's actually working. So I'm going to press run now. So it just finished. I can go and see the details of what it's just done. Now I've made it to Facebook and as you can see it's just posted and it has the link so it shows the photo and it's the text as we saw. So now every single day this will happen where it will look at the posts that are new that day and post it automatically. So I never have to manually add posts to Facebook ever again.
