How to Block Your Booking Page While You're on Vacation
Going away and don't want people booking calls while you're gone? Most scheduling tools push you toward two bad options: tear down your recurring availability and rebuild it when you get back, or leave the link open and hope nobody books you on the beach. Neither is necessary. A date override blocks a single day, or a run of days, as a one-time exception. Your regular weekly hours stay exactly as they are and the week after your trip is still bookable, so you're only carving out the dates you're actually away. This covers both ways to do it in Carly: date overrides on the booking page itself, which is the fastest, and blocking the time on a connected calendar, which works if your booking page already reads availability from Google Calendar or Outlook. Step by step

Open the booking page you want to change
Pick the specific page people are booking through. Overrides are set per booking page, so this matters if you run more than one.

Click Edit and scroll to Date Overrides
The Date Overrides section is where one-time exceptions live, separate from the recurring weekly hours above it.

Select the day you're taking off
Click into the date picker and choose the date. This is a one-time exception for that calendar day, not a change to the pattern.

Tick "Unavailable all day" and add the override
Check the box and click Add date override. The blocked date disappears from your booking page immediately.

Repeat for the rest of your trip
Each additional day gets blocked the same way. Your Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday hours stay untouched, and every other week stays open for bookings.

Or block it on a connected calendar instead
