How to Have Meta Muse Answer Your Phone Calls

1:12 · October 23, 2026

Meta Muse can answer your phone calls, and it takes about 10 minutes to set up. Carly Teams gives your agent a phone number and lets Muse call and text people. Then you turn on call forwarding on your own phone, so the calls you miss or decline go to your agent. It can take a message, schedule and book meetings with qualified prospects, and transfer a call to you when it hears a certain phrase or learns something about the caller. Add your calendar and other tools in Carly so the agent can use them on the call. It also works with ChatGPT, Claude and Grok Bot.

Step by step

  1. 01

Ask Muse to connect to Carly Teams

That's what gives your agent a phone number.

  2. 02

    Pick a number

No number yet? Muse searches for you, and you choose the area code and number.

  3. 03

    Turn on call forwarding

On AT&T and T-Mobile, dial each code, then tap Call. No answer: **61*[your Carly number]#. Busy or declined: **67*[your Carly number]#. Phone off or unreachable: **62*[your Carly number]#. To turn it all off: ##002#. On Verizon, dial *71 plus your Carly number, and *73 to cancel. Codes can vary by carrier.

  4. 04

    Add your calendar and tools

Add your calendar and other tools in Carly so the agent can use them on the call, like booking meetings with qualified prospects.

  5. 05

    Have calls transferred to you

Ask Muse to call someone and transfer the call to you when it hears a certain phrase or learns something about the caller.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
