Reddit Statistics 2026: Users, Revenue, AI & Search

Reddit averaged 130.3 million daily active uniques in the second quarter of 2026, up 18% in a year, and 514.6 million weekly, crossing half a billion for the first time. Revenue grew 61% to $805 million, the eighth straight quarter above 60% growth. Most of its daily audience is now logged out and outside the US, and in AI search it is the single most-cited domain. Here are the Reddit statistics worth knowing in 2026, each sourced inline with the year noted.

130 million people use Reddit every day

Reddit averaged 130.3 million daily active uniques (DAUq) in Q2 2026, up 18% year over year (Reddit Q2 2026 results, 2026).

Weekly active uniques reached 514.6 million, up 24%, the first quarter above half a billion (Reddit, 2026).

International users drive the growth: 77.1 million daily uniques outside the US (up 28%) against 53.2 million in the US (up 6%) (Reddit, 2026).

Most daily visitors don’t log in. Logged-out daily uniques were 77.7 million (up 27%), compared with 52.6 million logged-in (up 7%) (Reddit, 2026). In the US, logged-in daily users grew just 1%, to 23.1 million.

26% of US adults use Reddit

26% of US adults say they use Reddit, up from 18% in 2021, one of four platforms Pew found growing in recent years, along with TikTok, Instagram and WhatsApp (Pew Research Center, 2025).

About four in ten US adults with at least a college degree use Reddit, a higher share than among those with less education (Pew Research Center, 2025).

Men are more likely than women to use Reddit, and adults under 30 stand out, alongside their use of Instagram, Snapchat and TikTok (Pew Research Center, 2025).

Revenue grew 61% to $805 million in a quarter

Reddit’s Q2 2026 revenue was $805 million, up 61% year over year. Ad revenue rose 64% to $762 million, and other revenue, which includes content licensing and Reddit Premium, rose 24% to $43 million (Reddit, 2026).

Net income was $253 million in Q2 2026, 31% of revenue, and adjusted EBITDA was $343 million, a 43% margin (Reddit, 2026).

Full-year 2025 revenue was $2.2 billion, up 69%, with $530 million in net income (Reddit Q4 and full-year 2025 results, 2026).

Reddit earns $11.85 per US daily user per quarter, against $2.26 internationally, up 51% and 31% in a year (Reddit, 2026). The gap is why international growth has not yet matched US revenue: the US still brought in $638 million of the $805 million.

Reddit guided to $860 million to $870 million in revenue for Q3 2026 (Reddit, 2026).

Reddit is the domain AI answers cite most

Reddit is the most-cited domain in AI answers in the US, ranking first or second on every engine tested (ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews) in a 30-million-source analysis (Peec, 2026).

Reddit makes up 71% of the non-branded domains ChatGPT targets with a site: search, and Grok runs a site:reddit.com search in 10.5% of its chats (Peec, 2026).

The two trends meet: AI engines lean on Reddit threads for real user experience, and much of the traffic those answers and search results send arrives logged out. For search-side numbers, see SEO statistics.

Keeping up with what Reddit says about you

If Reddit is where AI answers learn what people think of your product, someone has to read those threads, and nobody has time to search every subreddit each morning. "Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
