AiSDR Review 2026: Ami, Pricing, Pros and Cons

AiSDR is an AI SDR. It finds B2B prospects from public buying signals, researches each one, sends email and LinkedIn sequences, answers the replies, and books meetings. In mid-2026 its agent got a name, Ami, and its pricing got a cheaper door: a $250 self-serve plan beside the $900 one most reviews still quote.

The short verdict: AiSDR is a good buy for a B2B team with a proven offer and a clear ICP that wants outbound run for it, with a human GTM engineer on Slack, and can commit a quarter at $900/month or more. The catches are a slow start (AiSDR says mailbox warmup takes 30+ days), quarterly contracts on Explore and Scale, contact caps that bite when a campaign takes off, and live calls staying with your reps. If your pipeline leaks after the first touch, in slow replies, unfinished follow-ups and inbound leads that wait until morning, Carly is the better pick at a fraction of the price.

What AiSDR actually does

AiSDR sells quality over volume: it reaches out only when there’s a public reason to.

  • Finds prospects. Describe your buyer in plain English and its live AI search builds a list from what AiSDR calls a 300M+ lead database, Sales Navigator data and web search. It can watch for any public signal you define: a keyword in a LinkedIn post, a hiring spree, a funding round, a job change, a competitor named on an earnings call. Scale adds website visitor tracking.
  • Researches before it writes. It reads each lead’s LinkedIn activity, company news and job posts and opens with the most relevant detail, in a voice learned from one of your real emails.
  • Runs multichannel sequences. Email, LinkedIn connection requests, DMs and InMail (InMail needs your own Sales Navigator seat), with rules for how to react to each lead. Phone steps run through Aircall: AiSDR gives your rep a talk track before the call and writes the follow-up after it. Scale adds AI videos and LinkedIn voice notes.
  • Handles replies. It answers within 5 to 10 minutes around the clock, or drafts for approval in co-pilot mode, works through standard objections, and books through Calendly or HubSpot’s calendar. Its AI Sales Assistant page says it “handles everything except the live conversations.”
  • Runs the sending setup. It buys domains and mailboxes for you, warms them, checks bounces three times before sending, rotates inboxes and tracks domain health.
  • Syncs your CRM. HubSpot gets two-way sync, list import, account scoring and activity logging on every plan. AiSDR also follows up with and qualifies inbound leads.

What Ami is

“Ami” shows up in two places on AiSDR’s site, and it’s the same agent in both.

In the product, Ami is the agent that plans and manages your outbound. Give it your website and about 20 minutes and it proposes the ICP, the signals to watch, the angle and the full sequence, then builds the campaign. After launch it flags what’s stalling (AiSDR’s example: positive replies under 1% after 21 days), fixes it or proposes a new play, sends a Monday recap, and remembers your ICP and exclusions between conversations. AiSDR says Ami learned from 17,000+ campaigns. It grew out of what AiSDR used to market as the AI Strategist; the plans page now calls Ami “the AI strategist.” Your first campaign stays in draft until you approve it, and you can keep a human approval step anywhere.

On AiSDR’s website, Ami is also the demo. “Get an instant demo of AiSDR from Ami” takes your email, writes outreach to you as if you were the prospect, and handles your pushback with no sales call.

Explore$900/mo800No seat limit2 domains, 6 mailboxes, 5 LinkedIn accountsQuarterly contract, billed monthly in advance
Scale$2,500/mo2,500No seat limit6 domains, 18 mailboxes, 20 LinkedIn accountsQuarterly contract, billed monthly in advance

From AiSDR’s site on October 4, 2026, quarterly toggle. The annual toggle shows $2,400, $8,640 and $24,000 a year, 20% less.

What the table doesn’t tell you:

  • You pay per researched contact, not per seat. That’s $1.25 a contact on Solo, about $1.13 on Explore and $1.00 on Scale. A five-rep team pays what a one-rep team pays.
  • Explore’s real minimum is $2,700. AiSDR bills monthly for the length of the contract, and on Explore that’s a quarter, despite the “cancel anytime” line. The homepage still says “$900/mo billed quarterly.”
  • Hitting the cap pauses you or costs you. You either pause campaigns or pay overage, and sending more means upgrading. Unused messages roll into the next quarter while you stay subscribed.
  • Support depends on the plan. Solo is self-serve with email and in-app chat. Explore adds a dedicated GTM engineer for onboarding and 24/7 Slack support. Scale adds performance reviews every two weeks.
  • Managed service costs extra: $149 per campaign on Explore, or $2,500/month more for full management on Scale.

AiSDR itself warns that third-party sites often show outdated prices, many still listing $900 as the floor.

AiSDR’s results claims, and how to read them

These are AiSDR’s own numbers: 1 to 3 qualified meetings per 100 leads, a 15 to 20% “lead-to-demo rate,” 1 to 2 weeks to a first meeting, 12,000 meetings booked for clients in 2025, and 250+ customer companies.

The first two can’t both be per lead. One to three meetings per 100 leads is a 1 to 3% lead-to-demo rate. AiSDR’s features page labels the 15 to 20% figure “reply-to-demo,” which is the version that adds up, and its FAQ calls the 1 to 3% figure a “directional benchmark” that depends on your market and offer.

If the benchmark holds for you, Explore’s 800 contacts a month would book 8 to 24 meetings, roughly $38 to $113 each. Not in month one, though. AiSDR says it takes 30+ days to get multiple inboxes ready for full volume, and that teams see their strongest results after about six weeks.

What AiSDR users say

AiSDR holds a row of G2 badges, including Leader and Best Support. Its Trustpilot page has no reviews. These themes recur across G2 reviews quoted in independent roundups, AiSDR’s own summary of its G2 reviews, and sales subreddits.

What people like

  • The support. The most consistent praise: GTM engineers who answer fast on Slack, help tune campaigns and watch performance from their side.
  • First touches that read like research. One reviewer selling an API to developers, a notoriously hard audience, credited the signal targeting with messages that don’t read like cold email.
  • Time back for small teams. In testimonials on AiSDR’s site, founders with no outbound team say it does the work of two or three people.

What goes wrong

  • The ramp is real. Reviewers say the first month is slow by design while mailboxes warm.
  • Setup takes more iterating than advertised. AiSDR says 90% of clients launch within 15 minutes; reviewers describe personas and campaigns taking several rounds to get right.
  • Caps bite at the wrong moment. A recurring complaint is running out of contacts or messages just as a campaign starts working.
  • Later touches and other languages. Some reviews find follow-ups more generic than the first email, and one reviewer adapted non-English campaigns by hand.
  • It still needs a minder. AiSDR’s homepage says it isn’t for teams that want “set and forget” automation, and reviewers agree someone has to keep targeting inside the ICP. In sales subreddits the broader doubt about AI SDRs is meeting quality and not seeing why the agent did what it did.

AiSDR pros and cons

Pros

  • Finds prospects from live public signals, not only a static database
  • Ami keeps working after launch, flagging and fixing weak campaigns
  • Hands-on support, with a GTM engineer on Explore and Scale
  • Domains, mailboxes and warmup handled for you
  • No per-seat pricing on Explore and Scale, and a month-to-month entry at $250

Cons

  • Explore and Scale lock you in for a quarter, and much of month one is warmup
  • Contact caps, and growing means upgrading
  • Salesforce sync sits on the $2,500 plan
  • Live calls stay with your reps
  • Results claims are vendor benchmarks, and two of them on the homepage don’t agree

AiSDR (Ami) vs Carly

The two overlap in the middle but start from opposite ends. AiSDR is built around finding and contacting new people. Carly is built around everything after: the reply, the follow-up, the inbound lead at 7:40pm, the booking and the CRM record.

Where Carly is the better pick

Plenty of B2B pipeline dies after the first touch, not for lack of names. In a Harvard Business Review audit of 2,241 US companies (2011), 23% never answered a web lead at all, and the rest of the follow-up research is just as grim. An AI SDR pours more leads into that leak. Carly closes it.

Say Josh runs sales at a 15-person software company, and his reps, Emily and Michael, pull leads from Apollo.

  • The inbound lead. A demo request arrives at 7:40pm. Carly’s routing rule assigns it to Emily. Within minutes the lead gets an email from Emily’s address and a text from the business number, and the AI voice agent calls with the form answers in hand and books a slot on Emily’s calendar while the lead is still on the line. Our guide to AI outbound calling covers why fresh inbound leads are the right people to call this way.
  • The sequence. Michael enrolls 300 Apollo leads in a four-step sequence from his own Outlook mailbox. Follow-ups go out as replies in the same thread, inside his sending window and daily cap. When Claire at one account writes back “send me pricing,” the sequence stops.
  • The reply. Claire’s email lands in the shared inbox labeled interested, with a reply drafted. Michael tweaks a line and sends. Out-of-office replies get sorted out of his way.
  • After the call. Carly reads the Gong notes, sends Claire the follow-up and updates the HubSpot deal. The “Awaiting reply” view lists every thread where a prospect owes an answer.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Apollo, Instantly, Slack and Gong, so you keep what you already pay for. Want one system instead? Import a CSV into the Carly CRM for lead statuses, weighted pipeline and reports by owner, and let free Zapier-style workflows post to Slack when a deal changes stage.

Who should buy AiSDR, and who shouldn’t

AiSDR fits if you:

  • Sell B2B with a proven offer and a defined ICP, and need more new conversations
  • Have little or no SDR capacity and can spend $900/month or more for a quarter
  • Run HubSpot, or run Salesforce and can justify Scale
  • Want a GTM engineer to set it up and an agent to keep campaigns tuned

Skip it if you:

  • Are still testing your offer. AiSDR’s own fit section says it isn’t for teams expecting AI to fix a broken offer
  • Need meetings in the next 30 days
  • Already get replies and inbound leads, and lose them to slow follow-up
  • Want an AI voice agent calling new leads, since AiSDR’s call steps are built for your reps

Go with Carly if your bottleneck comes after the first touch: slow replies, sequences nobody finishes, inbound leads that wait until morning. Carly works all of it from your team’s own mailboxes and calendars, and you can keep Apollo for the data. Our Instantly review covers high-volume sending, and the best AI SDR tools ranks the field.

FAQ

How much does AiSDR cost? As of October 4, 2026: Solo is $250/month, month to month, for 200 AI-researched contacts and one user. Explore is $900/month for 800 contacts and Scale is $2,500/month for 2,500, both on quarterly contracts billed monthly, so Explore’s minimum is $2,700. Annual plans save 20%.

What is Ami from AiSDR? Ami is AiSDR’s AI GTM agent. It reads your website, proposes who to target and what to say, builds the campaign, then monitors it, fixes what stalls and suggests new plays. AiSDR also uses Ami as its website demo, writing outreach to you as a prospect and answering your questions.

Is AiSDR worth it? For a B2B team with a proven offer, no SDR capacity and budget for a full quarter, often yes. It’s a poor fit if you’re still finding your ICP or need results within a month. If your leads already reply and the problem is follow-through, Carly handles replies, follow-ups and booking for far less.

Does AiSDR have a free trial? Not a classic one. You can sign up without a card, chat with Ami and build a campaign; the paywall appears at launch. The cheapest real test is Solo at $250, month to month, or you can try the Ami demo on AiSDR’s site.

What’s the best AiSDR alternative? It depends on what’s broken. If prospects reply but deals stall in follow-up, booking and inbound speed, Carly is the pick. For a like-for-like AI SDR or a cheaper sequencer, see our AiSDR alternatives.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
