Claude + Fieldwire: Connect Your Jobsite to Claude

Fieldwire doesn’t offer a Claude connector, and it hasn’t published an MCP server. It does give account owners and managers an API token, on the Account page. Connect that token to Carly, add the Carly connector to Claude, and your tasks, plans and forms are in the chat.

Where Fieldwire stands with Claude

As of October 16, 2026, there’s no Fieldwire connector in Claude and no official Fieldwire MCP server.

The Fieldwire API covers the jobsite: projects, plans and their versions, forms such as daily reports and inspections, and tasks with their comments, photos and checklist items. It can also invite users and change their role on a project. API access is an add-on on the Pro and Business plans and included with Enterprise.

How to connect Fieldwire to Claude through Carly

  1. Generate an API token. In Fieldwire, open the Account tab from your home page and scroll to API Settings. Generate a token and copy it. Only account owners and managers see this section.
  2. Connect Fieldwire in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Fieldwire there.
  3. Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
  4. Ask Claude about your projects. It answers through the Carly connector with live Fieldwire data.

What Claude can do with Fieldwire once Carly is in

  • “Which tasks on the Riverside project are past due, and who owns them?”
  • “What did the electrician comment on the level 3 punch items?”
  • “Create a task on the unit 304 sheet: patch drywall by the window, assign it to Josh.”
  • “Which daily reports were filed on the Main Street job this week?”

With your Gmail or Outlook connected in Carly too, Claude can turn an owner’s punch-list email into Fieldwire tasks in one step.

Where Claude stops

Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Fieldwire can start one. A sub who hasn’t touched their punch items, an owner’s rep waiting on today’s progress, a client emailing a list of fixes: all of it waits for someone to open a chat.

Carly handles those, in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:

  • Every evening at 5, email the owner’s rep the tasks closed on site today.
  • Every Monday at 7, email each subcontractor their open punch items on every project.
  • When a client emails a list of fixes, create a Fieldwire task for each and reply with confirmation.
  • Every Friday, email the project manager tasks open for more than two weeks.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update your scheduling tool, your accounting or your team’s Slack. You set it up in plain English. See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
