Claude + Connecteam: Connect Your Crew to Claude
Connecteam doesn’t offer a Claude connector. It does let the account owner create an API key in Settings. Connect that key to Carly, add the Carly connector to Claude, and your crew’s schedules, clocked hours and tasks are in the chat.
Where Connecteam stands with Claude
As of October 16, 2026, there’s no Connecteam connector in Claude. Connecteam’s developer site runs an MCP server for coding tools like Cursor, where developers pass in their own API key by hand. It isn’t a connector you add to claude.ai.
The Connecteam API covers what a field or shift business runs on: users, jobs and job scheduling, the time clock, quick tasks, daily info, team chat and time off. API access comes with the Expert plan and up.
How to connect Connecteam to Claude through Carly
- Create an API key. In Connecteam, go to Settings → API Keys → Add API key, and copy it. Only the account owner can do this.
- Connect Connecteam in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Connecteam there.
- Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
- Ask Claude about your crew. It answers through the Carly connector with live Connecteam data.
What Claude can do with Connecteam once Carly is in
- “Who’s scheduled on the Hendricks job tomorrow, and has anyone asked for that day off?”
- “How many hours did each crew member clock last week?”
- “Add a quick task for Marcus: pick up the replacement panels before 8.”
- “Who clocked in late this morning?”
With your Gmail or Outlook connected in Carly too, Claude can read a customer’s reschedule email and check who’s free that day in one step.
Where Claude stops
Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Connecteam can start one. Hours that need to reach payroll on Friday, a customer moving a job, a foreman who wants tomorrow’s crew list tonight: all of it waits for someone to open a chat.

Does Claude work with Connecteam?
