Claude + Rentvine: Connect Your Portfolio to Claude

Rentvine doesn’t publish a Claude connector, but it gives every customer an open API, and that’s all Claude needs. Connect Rentvine to Carly with an API key, add the Carly connector to Claude once, and your rent roll, work orders and leases sit in the same chat as your email and calendar.

Where Rentvine stands with Claude

As of October 13, 2026, there’s no Rentvine connector to install in Claude and no Rentvine MCP server to add by address. Rentvine hasn’t announced one, and mcp.rentvine.com answers exactly like a made-up subdomain does.

What Rentvine does have is more than most property management platforms offer. Its open REST API is included in every subscription, with no usage limits and no extra fee, and Rentvine’s own description is that anything you can see inside Rentvine is reachable through it. Each key is tied to a role, the same way a new staff login would be, so you decide exactly what the connection can see.

That makes Rentvine one of the easiest property management systems to bring into Claude. No partner application, no developer, no server running on your laptop.

How to connect Rentvine to Claude through Carly

  1. Create a key in Rentvine. Go to Global Settings, then User Roles and API, and add a new API key. Give it a role: a restricted role if you only want Claude reading, admin if you want everything. Rentvine generates a key and a secret.
  2. Connect Rentvine in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Rentvine there.
  3. Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
  4. Ask about your portfolio. Claude answers through the Carly connector with live Rentvine data.

What Claude can do with Rentvine once Carly is in

  • “Which tenants are more than five days late this month, and what does each one owe?”
  • “List every open work order at 418 Maple Court and tell me which ones still have no vendor.”
  • “Claire Thompson’s lease at Harbor View ends in 60 days. What is she paying, what has she reported this year, and draft the renewal offer.”
  • “Summarize Michael Bennett’s September owner statement and flag anything he’s going to call me about.”

Connect your Gmail or Outlook to Carly too, and the owner’s email and the ledger behind it land in one answer instead of two tabs.

The work that has to happen when nobody’s in the chat

Claude works when you ask it something. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Rentvine can start one. A maintenance request at 11pm, rent going five days late, a lease crossing 90 days out: each of those waits until someone opens a chat.

Carly runs that work in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:

  • Every morning at 8, pull everyone more than five days late, email each tenant a reminder from your Outlook, and send you the list.
  • When a maintenance request email arrives, find the unit in Rentvine, pick the vendor you use for that kind of job, and let the tenant know someone has it.
  • Every Monday, find leases ending in the next 90 days and draft each renewal for your review.
  • On the 5th, roll up each owner’s month into a short summary and email it.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update your accounting, post to your team’s Slack, or put the walk-through on your calendar. You describe what you want in plain English. Does the Rentvine API cost extra?

No. Rentvine says its open API is included in every subscription, with no usage restrictions and no additional charges.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
