Where Claude and Wave fall short today
- Wave has no official Claude connector or MCP server. Wave isn’t in Claude’s directory.
- The API needs Wave Pro. Per Wave’s developer docs, apps can only connect to businesses with an active Pro or Wave Advisor subscription.
- Anything else is a developer project. Connecting Claude means registering an app with Wave and running a server that speaks its GraphQL API.
- It only works while you chat. An overdue invoice doesn’t get a reminder unless someone asks.
