Jane’s headline prices are $54, $79 and $99 a month for Balance, Practice and Thrive. Those numbers cover one practitioner. Everyone after that is charged per licence on top, and that is where a clinic’s real bill is decided.

Prices are in US dollars. Full-time means a practitioner booking 24 or more hours a week; part-time is anything under that, and costs exactly half.
Balance is a starter plan with a hard cap
Balance is limited to one practitioner profile and 20 appointments a month. Jane explains the cap as up to 20 one-on-one or group appointments, or classes with up to 20 attendees, and suggests thinking of it as 20 invoices a month.
Twenty appointments is roughly five a week. That is a genuine part-time or just-starting practice, and Balance is priced for it. It is not a plan you grow inside, because there is no way to add a second practitioner.
What a real clinic pays
The per-licence structure means the sticker price stops being useful above one person. Working from the published rates:

Administrative and support staff are free. Any profile without bookable hours on the schedule costs nothing, so receptionists, billers and practice managers do not appear on the bill. That is a meaningful saving in a busy clinic and it is easy to miss when comparing headline prices.
Licences also adjust month to month as hours change, so a practitioner dropping below 24 hours a week moves to the half rate rather than staying on a full licence.
What Thrive adds for the extra $20
Thrive is Practice plus advanced scheduling and retention: rooms and equipment, availability tagging, patient self check-in for in-person visits, automated patient waitlist management, return visit reminders, packages and memberships, ratings and reviews, and Google Analytics.
Note that the per-practitioner rate goes up on Thrive as well, from $35 to $40 full-time. For a six-practitioner clinic the plan difference is $20 but the actual difference is $45 a month, because every additional licence costs $5 more too.
If rooms and equipment scheduling is what you need, Thrive is the only plan that has it. If it is only the reminders you want, do the licence math before upgrading.

AI Scribe is per practitioner who opts in rather than per clinic, so a four-practitioner clinic where everyone uses it adds $60 a month. All plans include 5 free AI Scribe notes a month, which is enough to evaluate it properly before paying.
Insurance Billing is available on Practice and Thrive only, and its per-practitioner surcharge stacks on top of the licence you are already paying for.
Payment processing
Card processing is 2.85% + $0.25 online and 2.6% + $0.10 in person. For a clinic taking $30,000 a month in card payments online, that is $855 in percentage fees alone before the per-transaction charge, which dwarfs the subscription. Worth modelling alongside the plan price rather than after it.
What is included regardless of plan
Unlimited data storage, unlimited email reminders, unlimited SMS reminders where SMS is available in your region, unlimited human support by chat, email and phone, free data import, a complimentary onboarding call, HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, SOC 2 auditing and 99.9% uptime.
Free SMS appointment reminders are unusual in this category, where per-message charges are the norm. Availability varies by region, so confirm yours.
The messages that never become appointments
Jane’s licence model is fair, the free admin seats are generous, and charting plus scheduling in one place is worth paying for.
What no practice management system prices is the traffic that arrives before an appointment exists. The prospective patient who emails three questions about whether you treat their condition. The referral from a physician that needs a call back. The regular who wants to move Thursday and needs options. Those are inbox problems, and they land on the front desk between patients.
