Lawmatics Pricing: Quote-Only, With a 3-User Floor
Lawmatics does not publish a price. Essential, Premium and Enterprise all lead to “Get a demo” or “Contact Sales,” and the page describes the approach as tailor-made pricing rather than a rate card.
What Lawmatics does publish, in unusual detail, is the limits. The side-by-side comparison is specific about contacts, automations, signatures and texts, and those numbers tell you more about what you will actually pay than a headline rate would.
The three-user minimum is the real entry price
Both Essential and Premium list a user minimum of 3.
This is the single most important number on the page and it is easy to miss. A solo practitioner cannot buy one seat of Lawmatics. Whatever the per-user rate turns out to be in your quote, the smallest possible Lawmatics bill is three times it, on either plan.
For a two-attorney firm, that means you are paying for a seat nobody sits in.
Essential and Premium, by the limits
| Essential | Premium | |
|---|---|---|
| User minimum | 3 | 3 |
| CRM contacts | 500 | 10,000 |
| Automations | 10 | Unlimited |
| E-signatures | 50 | Included |
| Two-way SMS | 50/mo | 50/mo |
| Email sends | not listed | 50,000/mo |
| Conflict checking | Basic | Advanced |
| Round-robin scheduling | no | yes |
| Custom reports and dashboards | no | yes |
Both plans carry an asterisk on contacts: additional contacts are sold separately. So 500 is not a wall, it is a meter.
Three limits worth checking against your firm
500 contacts on Essential is small for a marketing CRM. Lawmatics is sold as a legal CRM and marketing automation platform, and 500 contacts is roughly one year of leads for a busy consumer practice. Personal injury or family law firms running paid intake will pass it, and then buy more.
Texting is capped at 50 a month on both plans. This is the limit that does not improve when you upgrade. Premium gives you unlimited automations and 50,000 email sends, and the same 50 two-way SMS as Essential. If texting leads is central to how you convert, budget for the overage on either plan, and note that MMS is an add-on on both.
Ten automations on Essential is the upgrade trigger. Lawmatics sells workflow automation as the point of the product. Essential gives you ten. Firms tend to build ten workflows in the first month and then need Premium.
What sits outside the plan entirely
Time and billing is an add-on. Time tracking, client management, payment processing and invoicing are sold as an add-on applicable to any plan, not bundled into Premium. If you expected Lawmatics to replace your billing system at the Premium price, check that line on the quote.
QualifyAI is credit-based. The AI lead scoring add-on is priced by credits on top of whatever plan you are on, so its cost scales with lead volume rather than sitting in the subscription.
Enterprise is custom everything. It lists the same 10,000 contacts as Premium, plus custom pricing, a dedicated account manager and full feature access.
The offers on the page
Lawmatics is currently promoting a first month free, and offers a $50 gift card for taking a demo. Neither tells you the rate, but both are worth knowing before you book the call.
The part that a three-seat minimum makes expensive
Lawmatics is genuinely good at what it is for. Intake pipelines, drip campaigns and ROI reporting on marketing spend are things a general tool does badly, and a firm buying paid leads needs all three.
The awkward case is the small practice whose actual problem is narrower: consultations that take six emails to book, enquiries that sit until Monday, follow-ups nobody sent. That is a scheduling and inbox problem, and reaching it through Lawmatics means buying three seats and probably Premium.
Carly answers the same bottleneck without the floor. Zapier-style workflows are free, so a rule like “when a web enquiry arrives, check the calendar and offer three consultation times” costs nothing to run. Booking pages and connected calendars are unlimited, so round-robin scheduling across the firm does not require the upper tier. Every Gmail and Outlook account connects as its own authorized connection, so replies go out from the address the client wrote to. The agent that reads the enquiry, drafts the reply and books the consultation starts at $35 a month rather than three seats and a quote, and Carly connects to thousands of apps, Lawmatics included.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
