Voiceflow Pricing 2026: Plans, Credits and Real Costs

Voiceflow used to print its prices. It doesn’t anymore. The pricing page now offers a free trial for agencies and a “Request pricing” button for businesses, and the plan prices only show up inside the app.

The quick answer: Voiceflow bills a monthly plan fee, add-ons (extra editor seats, phone numbers, concurrent calls) and usage in credits. One credit is $0.005. A chat message costs 1 credit, a phone minute costs 10, and the AI model, speech-to-text and text-to-speech are charged on top. The last public price list showed Pro from $60 a month and Business from $150 a month, with Enterprise on a custom contract. If what you actually need is an agent answering your business calls, texts and email rather than a builder to design one in, Carly runs that for your team out of the box.

Plan descriptions and credit costs are from Voiceflow’s billing docs, read October 13, 2026. Dollar prices and plan limits are from the last public version of its pricing page, archived January 2026.

Voiceflow plans

Voiceflow’s docs list four plans. Here is what each includes, with the last published price.

PlanWho it’s forWhat it includesLast public price
FreeTrying it outA one-time credit grant that doesn’t renew. Voiceflow says it “isn’t suitable for production usage”$0
ProIndividual buildersAll LLM models, up to 20 agents, 5 concurrent voice callsFrom $60/month with 10,000 credits
BusinessGrowing teamsLLM fallback models, priority support, unlimited agents, 15 concurrent voice callsFrom $150/month with 30,000 credits
EnterpriseLarge-scale workloadsUnlimited product usage, SSO, private cloud hosting, custom credit allotmentsCustom, billed annually

Bigger credit bundles cost more on both paid plans: Pro went up to 20,000 credits and Business up to 200,000. Annual billing saved 10% and charged the year’s credits upfront.

Every paid plan includes some editor seats. Extra editors are an add-on, and viewers are free. Each workspace gets one Voiceflow phone number, and more are an add-on. Each plan also caps concurrent calls, which you can raise with another add-on. Enterprise customers are billed on contract through an account manager rather than the self-serve billing page.

What Voiceflow credits cost

The credit table is public, in Voiceflow’s docs. One credit is $0.005.

What you useCreditsDollars
A user chat message (or a Conversations API request)1$0.005
A minute on a phone call10$0.05
Claude Sonnet 4.6, per 1K tokens in / out0.75 / 3.75$0.00375 / $0.01875
GPT-5.4 mini, per 1K tokens in / out0.1875 / 1.125$0.00094 / $0.0056
Voiceflow Flash 4.2, per 1K tokens in / out0.06 / 0.2$0.0003 / $0.001

ElevenLabs text-to-speech, per 1K characters9 (18 for Multilingual)$0.045 ($0.09)

When the monthly credits run out, you can move to a bigger bundle or turn on auto top-ups, which buy more credits when the balance hits zero.

What a Voiceflow conversation really costs

Credits are hard to picture, so here are two worked examples using the table above.

A website chat. Six customer messages, each turn sending about 3,000 tokens to the model (instructions, retrieved help articles and history) and getting 200 back. On Claude Sonnet 4.6, each turn is 1 message credit plus 3 token credits, so the chat is about 24 credits, or $0.12. A thousand of those a month is about $120 in usage. On Voiceflow’s own Flash model the same chat is about 7 credits, under 4 cents.

A phone call. Five minutes, ten agent turns on Claude Sonnet 4.6, about 2,000 characters of agent speech, Soniox for speech-to-text and ElevenLabs for the voice. That’s 50 credits for the minutes, 30 for the model, 18 for the voice and about 2 for transcription: roughly 100 credits, or $0.50 a call. Three hundred calls a month is about $150 in usage.

Both numbers come before the plan fee and any extra seats. The model you pick moves the bill more than anything else, and long instructions plus retrieved articles add up on every single turn.

What isn’t in the price

Voiceflow is a builder. The bill covers the platform and the usage, and someone on your side still designs the agent: the instructions, the playbooks and workflows, the API calls into your order system or CRM, the handoff to a person, and the tests. For businesses, Voiceflow lists implementation support as “self-serve or fully managed.”

That trade is a good one if you have a conversation designer or a developer and a product to put the agent inside. It’s a poor one if you run a business and just want the phone answered and the customer booked.

Carly: an agent for your calls, texts and email, already built

Carly is for teams that want the outcome without the build. It runs your team’s calls, texts and email in one inbox, and the AI agent picks up when nobody else can.

  • It answers the call. Calls ring your team first, and if nobody picks up, Carly answers. Or let it answer around the clock. It detects when a caller speaks Spanish and answers in Spanish.
  • It knows who’s calling. Carly matches the number to your CRM and past email, so it starts with context instead of “can I get your name?”
  • It books the appointment on your team’s real Google or Outlook calendars while the caller is still on the line, and hands off to the right teammate when a person should take it.
  • It texts from the same number. Inbound texts get answered from your own knowledge files, and a missed call can trigger a text back within seconds (how that works).
  • Everything lands in one place. Transcripts, summaries and texts go to the team inbox and the customer’s CRM record, and it writes back to HubSpot, Salesforce and Dynamics 365.
  • Your chat assistant can drive it. Add Carly Teams as a connector in ChatGPT or Claude and you can place calls, send texts and build the agents from a chat (see how).

You write the instructions in plain English, call it from your own phone to test it, and the Carly team can set up the line with you. Carly also connects to thousands of apps, so call outcomes can trigger workflows anywhere your team works. Pricing: the phone line is priced on a short call; free Zapier-style workflows; AI agents from $35/month. Get started with Carly.

FAQ

How much does Voiceflow cost?

Voiceflow no longer lists plan prices on its pricing page; they’re shown inside the app under Plans and Billing. The last public prices were Pro from $60 a month and Business from $150 a month, plus usage at $0.005 a credit. A chat message is 1 credit and a phone minute is 10, with AI model and voice costs on top. If you’d rather have a ready-made agent on your business line, Carly runs one for you.

Is Voiceflow free?

There’s a Free plan, but it comes with a one-time credit grant that doesn’t renew, and Voiceflow’s own docs say it isn’t meant for production. Agencies get a free trial with no card. For a website chatbot you can run for free, CarlyChat is free to start.

What is a Voiceflow credit?

A credit is Voiceflow’s unit of usage, worth $0.005. Credits pay for chat messages (1 each), phone minutes (10 each), AI model tokens, speech-to-text minutes and text-to-speech characters. Paid plans include a monthly allotment that resets each billing cycle and is shared across all workspaces in your organization.

Does Voiceflow charge per seat?

Partly. Each paid plan includes some editor seats, and additional editors are a monthly add-on. Viewers are free and unlimited on every plan.

Why did Voiceflow hide its pricing?

Voiceflow hasn’t said. Its pricing page now splits buyers into agencies, who get a self-serve trial and usage-based billing, and businesses, who book a demo and request a quote. The public plan grid was still up in January 2026 and gone by March.

What’s a cheaper alternative to Voiceflow?

It depends on whether you want to build an agent or have one. Developer platforms bill by the minute and still need someone to wire them up. If you want calls, texts and email answered on your own business number without a build, Carly does that, and the Carly team can set it up with you on a short call.

See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
