Workiz Pricing: Three Plans, All Quote-Only
Workiz shows no prices on its pricing page. Standard, Pro and Ultimate each carry a “Request pricing” button, and so does every column of the comparison table below them.
If you are reading an article that quotes Workiz plan prices, check the date on it. The plan names and the pricing model in this category change often, and the live page currently commits to no number at any tier.
What Workiz does tell you
Three things are published, and all three are useful.
The automation caps. Standard gets a total of 5 automations, Pro gets 10, Ultimate gets 30. This is the clearest gate in the lineup and the one most likely to decide your plan.
Open API is Ultimate only. Zapier integration appears across the table, but the Open API line is on the top plan. If you intend to build anything custom against Workiz data, that is a top-tier purchase.
The annual discount is worth $400+. Workiz says choosing an annual plan saves $400 or more compared with monthly billing, without saying against which plan.
The three plans
| Standard | Pro | Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Growing teams | Mid size team | Multi-location and franchises |
| Automations | 5 | 10 | 30 |
| Jobs, invoices, estimates, clients | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Genius Leads | no | yes | yes |
| Genius Scheduling | no | yes | yes |
| Custom reports | no | yes | yes |
| Performance pay | no | yes | yes |
| Sales proposals | no | no | yes |
| Inventory management | no | no | yes |
| Multi-day jobs | no | no | yes |
| Franchise management | no | no | yes |
| Open API | no | no | yes |
Standard covers scheduling, invoices, jobs and estimates, online payments, service areas, built-in reports, client management, custom fields, subcontractor management and the QuickBooks integration.
Pro is the AI step up: performance pay, Genius Leads, Genius Scheduling and custom reports, with automations doubling to 10.
Ultimate is the operations tier: service plans, sales proposals, inventory, flat-rate pricing, checklists, multi-day jobs, franchise management, equipment tracking, purchase orders and the Open API, with automations at 30.
The Genius add-ons are sold separately
This is the part that most changes the real monthly cost, and it is easy to read past because the add-ons appear inside the comparison table as though they were plan features. Each one is marked “sold separately.”
Genius Phone is an integrated phone system with call insights, smart messaging, ad tracking, two-way texting, call flows, call masking and free 10DLC registration.
Genius Answering answers calls, emails, SMS, web forms and lead sources 24/7 in English, Spanish and French, with live transfers to your human team and custom questions and answers.
Genius Marketing runs blast and automated campaigns, workflows, emails, SMS, an AI writer and designer, industry templates and a reputation manager.
So a Workiz quote for Standard is not a quote for a system that answers your phone. Answering is a separate line, on any plan.
What to ask on the quote call
Three questions get you the number that matters:
- What is the per-user rate on each of the three plans, monthly and annual?
- Is there a user minimum, and does the rate change above a certain headcount?
- What do Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing add per month at our call volume?
The third one is usually the largest number of the three.
Where the automation cap bites
Five automations on Standard sounds like plenty until you write them down. Appointment reminder, on-my-way text, review request after job completion, unpaid invoice follow-up, missed-call response. That is five, and you have not yet automated estimate follow-up, which is where most home services businesses actually lose revenue.
Moving to Pro for automation six is a reasonable trade if you also want Genius Leads. It is an expensive trade if the automations were the only reason.
Carly sits alongside Workiz rather than replacing it, and it is priced the opposite way round. Zapier-style workflows are free, so estimate follow-up, review requests and missed-call replies do not consume a cap you paid to raise. Booking pages and connected calendars are unlimited, so every technician and every service type can have its own link. Every Gmail and Outlook account connects as its own authorized connection, so replies come from the address the customer already emailed. The agent that reads the message, drafts the reply and books the job starts at $35 a month rather than a plan upgrade plus an add-on, and Carly connects to thousands of apps, so dispatch, invoicing and the job history stay in Workiz.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
