See the stockout two weeks before it happens
Email Carly weekly and she'll check Shopify inventory against velocity, flag anything under 14 days of cover, ping ops in #ops, and draft restock emails to suppliers — so stockouts stop being a 3am surprise.
What Carly does
- 01 List all Shopify products with current stock and 30-day velocity
- 02 Calculate days of cover per SKU — flag anything under 14
- 03 Post the ranked flag list to #ops
- 04 Draft restock emails to each SKU's primary supplier
- 05 Flag any SKU without a supplier on record for your review
Stockouts stop being a surprise
You get the alert 2 weeks before the stockout, not 2 weeks after. Supplier emails are drafted. The reorder decision becomes a 30-second review — not a 3am panic.
Email this to Carly to kick it off.
Hey Carly, Can you run our weekly low-stock check? Pull every Shopify product with current stock and 30-day sell-through, then flag anything under 14 days of cover. Drop the ranked flag list in #ops in Slack, and for each flagged SKU draft a restock email to its primary supplier in Gmail (don't send — leave them in drafts for me). If any SKU is missing a supplier on file, surface those separately so I can fill them in. Thanks!

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
