Claude + Vagaro: Connect Your Booking Calendar to Claude

Vagaro doesn’t offer a Claude connector, and it hasn’t published an MCP server. It does have an API, which Vagaro switches on for your business when you request it. Once it’s on, connect it to Carly, add the Carly connector to Claude, and your appointments, clients and staff are in the chat.

Where Vagaro stands with Claude

As of October 16, 2026, there’s no Vagaro connector in Claude and no official Vagaro MCP server.

Vagaro’s API covers the front desk: appointments, customers, employees and locations. Vagaro also sends webhooks when appointments and sales change. Access isn’t automatic. You request it from inside your business account, and Vagaro reviews the request and switches it on. After approval, your client ID and secret appear in the same settings page.

How to connect Vagaro to Claude through Carly

  1. Request API access. In Vagaro, go to Settings → Developers → APIs & Webhooks and submit the request. If you don’t see that page, ask Vagaro’s sales team to enable it. Once approved, copy your client ID and secret from the same page.
  2. Connect Vagaro in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Vagaro there.
  3. Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
  4. Ask Claude about your book. It answers through the Carly connector with live Vagaro data.

Rather not do the request yourself? Book a call and we’ll walk through it with you.

What Claude can do with Vagaro once Carly is in

  • “Who’s on Josh’s book tomorrow, and where are the gaps?”
  • “Which clients haven’t been in for eight weeks?”
  • “How many new clients did each stylist see this month?”
  • “Who’s booked Saturday but has no phone number on file?”

With your Gmail or Outlook connected in Carly too, Claude can match a client’s email to their appointment history in one step.

Where Claude stops

Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Vagaro can start one. Vagaro’s webhooks fire when an appointment changes, but claude.ai has nowhere to receive them. A client who’s overdue for color, a cancellation that opened a prime slot, the weekly numbers for the owner: all of it waits for someone to open a chat.

Carly handles those, in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:

  • Every evening at 7, email each stylist tomorrow’s appointments with client notes.
  • Eight weeks after a visit, email clients who haven’t rebooked with a personal note from your address.
  • When a client emails asking for a time, check the book and draft a reply with the openings.
  • Every Monday, email the owner last week’s appointments and new clients by stylist.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update your bookkeeping, your email list or your team’s group chat. You set it up in plain English. Routine steps run as free Zapier-style workflows; work that needs judgment runs as an AI agent. Free Zapier-style workflows; AI agents from $35/month. Get started with Carly.

See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
