Claude + Zuper: Connect Your Field Service Data to Claude

Zuper has an MCP server, but Claude.ai can’t use it yet. Zuper’s server signs in with an API key sent as a header, and Claude.ai and Claude Desktop connectors only do OAuth. Zuper’s own docs say so. Connect your Zuper API key to Carly instead, add the Carly connector to Claude, and your jobs, quotes and customers are in the chat today.

Where Zuper stands with Claude

As of October 16, 2026, Zuper hosts a remote MCP server at https://mcp.zuperpro.com/mcp. Every request needs two headers: your API key and your account’s region. Zuper’s documentation, updated October 13, says OAuth isn’t available yet, so OAuth-only clients like Claude.ai and Claude Desktop connectors can’t connect. OAuth support is listed as coming soon.

What works today is developer tooling. Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code accept custom headers, so they can reach Zuper’s server directly. If your team lives in the Claude app, the Carly connector is the way in.

How to connect Zuper to Claude through Carly

  1. Create an API key. In Zuper, go to Settings → Developer Hub → API Keys and click + New API Key. Name it and copy it. The key carries the full access of the user who created it, so create it from an admin account, or from a dedicated user if you’d rather limit it.
  2. Connect Zuper in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Zuper there.
  3. Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
  4. Ask Claude about your jobs. It answers through the Carly connector with live Zuper data.

Using Claude Code? You can also add Zuper’s server yourself with claude mcp add --transport http zuper https://mcp.zuperpro.com/mcp plus an x-api-key header and an x-account-region header. That puts Zuper in your terminal, not in the Claude app.

What Claude can do with Zuper once Carly is in

  • “Which jobs are scheduled today, and which tech is on each one?”
  • “List quotes sent more than a week ago that the customer hasn’t accepted.”
  • “Pull up every job at Michael Bennett’s property this year and what was invoiced.”
  • “Create a job for Claire Thompson’s AC repair on Thursday morning and assign it to Josh.”

With your Gmail or Outlook and your calendar connected in Carly too, Claude can turn a customer’s service request email into a scheduled job in one step.

Where Claude stops

Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Zuper can start one. A service request at 7pm, a quote sitting unanswered, a job that finished without an invoice: all of it waits for someone to open a chat.

Carly handles those, in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:

  • When a service request email arrives, find or create the customer in Zuper, offer times from your calendar, and book the job once they pick one.
  • Every evening at 6, send each tech tomorrow’s jobs with addresses and notes.
  • Every Tuesday, find quotes older than seven days with no answer and draft a follow-up to each customer for you to approve.
  • Every morning, list yesterday’s completed jobs that don’t have an invoice yet.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update QuickBooks, post to your crew’s Slack, or log the lead in HubSpot. You set it up in plain English. Routine steps run as free Zapier-style workflows; work that needs judgment runs as an AI agent. Free Zapier-style workflows; AI agents from $35/month. Get started with Carly.

FAQ

Does Claude work with Zuper?

In Claude Code, yes, through Zuper’s MCP server with your API key in the headers. In the Claude app, not directly yet, because Zuper’s server doesn’t support OAuth. Connect Zuper to Carly and add the Carly connector, and the Claude app works with your Zuper data.

Where do I create a Zuper API key?

Settings → Developer Hub → API Keys → + New API Key. It carries the permissions of the user who created it.

What’s my Zuper account region?

It’s the data center your account runs in, such as us-west-1c. Zuper’s MCP server needs it in the x-account-region header, and Zuper’s developer docs show how to look it up from your company login name.

Will Claude.ai connect to Zuper’s MCP server later?

Zuper says OAuth support is coming soon. Until then, the Carly connector is how the Claude app reaches Zuper, and it also gives you the automations Claude can’t run on its own.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
