Claude + Jobber: What the Integration Can Do in 2026

Yes, officially. Jobber built its own Claude connector, and it sits in Claude’s connector directory marked Anthropic verified, added in August 2026. It works on every Jobber plan and on Claude’s free plan. It looks up requests, quotes, clients, properties, jobs and invoices, and it can create or edit requests, clients and properties. It can’t create or edit jobs, quotes or invoices, delete anything, or touch your schedule. And like every Claude connector, it waits to be asked. Nothing watches your Jobber account, nothing fires when a quote gets approved, nothing runs while you’re on a job site.

Here’s how to switch it on, what it can reach, where the limits bite, and what to use if you want Jobber work that runs on its own.

What Jobber ships for AI

Jobber’s Developer Center gives you a real, capable API, the best of the field-service tools, and it’s what third-party apps build on:

  • GraphQL API (no REST) — a free, self-serve developer account, an app you create in the Developer Center, and OAuth 2.0 auth. You test queries in GraphiQL.
  • Webhooks — real-time events configured at the application level, covering the objects that matter: clients, requests, quotes, jobs, visits, invoices, timesheets, expenses.
  • Broad CRUD coverage — create and update clients, quotes, jobs, and invoices through mutations.

On top of that sits Jobber’s own AI. Jobber Copilot (the business-coach chat launched in late 2024) and the AI Receptionist (launched Aug 2025, answers calls and texts and books jobs) run inside Jobber and don’t connect to Claude. The piece that does is the Claude connector, which runs on Jobber’s own MCP server.

How to connect Claude to Jobber

  1. In Jobber, open the App Marketplace and find the Claude connector.
  2. Select Learn More to land on Jobber’s entry in Claude’s connector directory, then select Connect. From Claude’s side it’s the same entry under Customize → Connectors.
  3. Sign in to Jobber if you aren’t already, and select Allow Access.

That’s the whole setup. It’s available on Jobber’s Core, Connect, Grow and Plus plans, and Claude’s free plan works with it. The community MCP servers and Zapier or Pipedream middleware that filled this gap before August are no longer the practical route.

Once it’s on, Claude can:

  • Look up requests, quotes, clients, properties, jobs and invoices.
  • Create or edit requests, clients and properties.

It can’t create or edit jobs, quotes or invoices, delete or archive any record, or add, edit or remove anything on your schedule.

The limits that actually matter

The connector is the right tool for asking about your Jobber account. The shape is still “an assistant you operate,” not “an agent that runs.” Four limits define it:

  • Look, don’t touch, where the money is. Quotes, jobs, invoices and the schedule are read-only through the connector. Claude can tell you a quote was approved; it can’t book the visit that follows.
  • No triggers, no monitoring. Jobber’s webhooks can fire on “quote approved” or “invoice paid,” but Claude’s connectors only run when you ask. There’s nothing to catch that webhook and act, so no “when a quote is approved, schedule the visit and text the client.” You have to be in the chat, prompting.
  • Conversation-only. Claude looks up a client or drafts a quote when you ask; it doesn’t sit on your account watching for new requests and following up. Close the chat and nothing continues.
  • Laptop-bound for anything scheduled. The closest thing to “running on its own” is Claude Cowork’s scheduled tasks, which fire on a fixed clock, not on inbox events. That’s not an always-on, event-driven dispatch agent.

So Claude is good for “pull up this client’s job history and draft a follow-up” and not built for “chase every approved quote the moment it lands.”

If you want Jobber work that runs on its own: Carly

The moment you want something to happen around Jobber without you in the chat, like texting a client the instant their quote is approved, following up on an overdue invoice, or confirming tomorrow’s visits every evening, you’ve crossed past what a chat connector is for.

That’s where Carly fits. Carly is an AI executive assistant built to act on triggers, not just answer in a chat:

  • Fires on Jobber events, 24/7, in the cloud — when a quote is approved, a job is booked, or an invoice goes overdue, Carly acts; your laptop doesn’t need to be awake.
  • Runs the whole follow-up — read the job, draft the message, send it, and update the record, all in one flow off a single event.
  • Actually sends and updates — drafts and sends email (Gmail and Outlook) with attachments, files and labels, manages tasks, and updates your CRM.
  • Builds the workflow for you — tell it “I’d like to set up a system that texts a client when their quote is approved and books the visit” in plain English; it interviews you, then builds it with you. No prompt engineering.

Setup uses Jobber’s supported OAuth flow: create a Draft app in Jobber’s Developer Center, then open carlyassistant.com/integrations, choose Choose a provider → Jobber, enter the client ID and secret, and authorize the account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Claude work with Jobber?

Yes. Jobber has an official Claude connector in Claude’s connector directory, built by Jobber and added in August 2026. It works on every Jobber plan and on Claude’s free plan, looks up requests, quotes, clients, properties, jobs and invoices, and creates or edits requests, clients and properties. It answers when you ask; it doesn’t act on its own.

Isn’t Jobber Copilot a Claude integration?

No. Jobber Copilot and the AI Receptionist are Jobber’s own in-product AI features, and they run inside Jobber. The Claude integration is the separate Jobber connector.

How do I connect Claude to Jobber?

In Jobber, open the App Marketplace, choose the Claude connector, select Learn More, then Connect on Jobber’s entry in Claude’s directory. Sign in to Jobber and select Allow Access. You can also find it in Claude under Customize → Connectors.

What if I want Jobber to act on its own — text clients, chase invoices?

That’s outside what a chat connector does; it responds when you ask and doesn’t act on Jobber’s webhooks. Connect Jobber to Carly to message clients, chase invoices, update records, and send email from configured Jobber events.

See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
