Grok Bot Connectors: What It Connects To and What's Missing
Grok Bot’s connectors are plugins from Cursor’s marketplace, and you add them from Connect apps in the sidebar. They cover Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Salesforce and a few dozen other business apps. Most of the 450-plus listings are developer tools, and Asana, Pipedrive, Zendesk, Mailchimp and nearly all industry software have no plugin at all. For those, add the Carly plugin with one chat message: Carly connects to thousands of apps, so all of them reach your Bot through it.
How to add a connector in Grok Bot
- Open Connect apps from the sidebar.
- Browse the plugins and choose Add.
- Finish the sign-in in your browser if it asks.
- In a chat, type
@to attach the connector to the task.
Installed connectors are account-wide. Every Bot you run can use them, not only the one you added it for. On a Team Bot, plugins are shared with everyone who messages it, and a plugin that signs in with OAuth uses the access of whoever is asking.
There is no separate Grok Bot connector list. On a team plan, Grok Bot follows your Cursor connector policy, and a plugin your admin has blocked shows as Disabled by team admin.
Business apps with a Grok Bot plugin
Checked against Cursor’s marketplace on October 17, 2026. The list grows fast: Cursor’s own set of app plugins went from 59 on September 10 to 92 on October 17.
| Category | Apps with a plugin |
|---|---|
| Email and calendar | Gmail, Google Calendar, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, Calendly |
| Files and docs | Google Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox, Box, Notion, Coda, Airtable, Smartsheet |
| Chat and meetings | Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Fathom, Fireflies, Otter, Granola, Gong |
| CRM and sales | HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, Attio, HighLevel, Streak, Apollo, Outreach, ZoomInfo |
| Support | Intercom |
| Projects and tasks | Linear, Atlassian (Jira and Confluence), Monday, ClickUp, Trello, Wrike, Basecamp, Todoist |
| Finance | QuickBooks Online, Xero, Zoho Books, Stripe, Brex, Ramp, Mercury |

| Commerce, forms and signing | Shopify, Typeform, Jotform, DocuSign |

A plugin is not always the whole app. The OneDrive and SharePoint plugins, for example, search and read files and lists but don’t edit them.

Add any other app with one message
Grok Bot has no settings form for a custom connector. You ask for it in chat: send your Bot “Add this MCP server:” followed by the address, confirm the name and address it reads back, then click Authorize on the card it posts. The new tools are there from your next message.
Two limits apply. The server has to be reachable on the public internet over HTTPS, because your Bot runs in the cloud and can’t see a server on your laptop. And on a team plan, the connector policy can block any server an admin hasn’t approved.
The harder part is finding a server to add. Most apps don’t publish one, and every one that does wants its own sign-in. Carly is one address that brings all of your apps at once.
What connectors don’t do on their own
A connector gives a Bot access to an app. It does not tell the Bot when to act.
Grok Bot can react, within a developer-shaped world. Schedules for anything, plus Slack, GitHub, Linear, Sentry and PagerDuty events, webhooks, and mail to the Bot's own grokbot.com address. Everything a business runs on, a client email landing in Outlook, a deal moving, an invoice clearing, a form coming in, sits outside the documented list. Carly starts on all of those.
Everything else is yours to build: the instructions, the permissions (Outlook and SharePoint mean Microsoft Graph scopes), the routine, and the fixes when a token expires or an app changes. And because every Bot shares one cloud computer, a connector or browser login added for one Bot is open to all of them. More on that in our Grok Bot guide.
Add Carly to Grok Bot
Carly is an AI assistant that follows your rules the same way every time, and it’s endlessly customizable. Inside Grok Bot it adds:
- Thousands of apps through one plugin. Every app in the list above, plus the ones that already have plugins, connected once at carlyassistant.com/integrations.
- All of your inboxes and calendars at once. Carly holds every Gmail and Outlook account you have, so one Bot works across all of them. See connecting multiple email accounts to Grok Bot.
- Workflows that are already built. Labeling and sorting email, chasing replies, prepping meetings, logging leads to your CRM. Start from a template, and it runs the moment the email arrives or the meeting is booked.
- Phone calls and texts. People you work with can text Carly a number instead of opening an app, and Carly can call and text on your behalf.
To set it up:
- Connect your accounts and apps at carlyassistant.com/integrations.
- In a chat with your Bot, send this message:
- Confirm when the Bot reads back the name and address.
- Click Authorize on the card it posts and sign in to Carly.
Your Bot keeps the chat, and Carly does the work in your apps. Free Zapier-style workflows; AI agents from $35/month. Get started with Carly.
FAQ
What are Grok Bot connectors?
They are plugins from Cursor’s marketplace that let a Bot work in an app directly instead of clicking through a website. You add them from Connect apps in the Grok Bot sidebar, and once installed they’re available to every Bot on your account.
Are Grok Bot connectors the same as Grok connectors?
No. Grok on grok.com has its own connectors, added at grok.com/connectors with New Connector. Grok Bot uses Cursor’s plugin marketplace instead. See Grok connectors for the grok.com side.
How do I add a custom connector to Grok Bot?
Ask in chat. Send your Bot “Add this MCP server:” with the server’s address, confirm the details it reads back, and click Authorize on the card it posts. For Carly the address is https://carlyassistant.com/mcp, which brings thousands of apps at once.
Does Grok Bot have an Asana connector?
Not as of October 17, 2026, and Pipedrive, Zendesk and Mailchimp don’t have one either. Connect the app to Carly, add Carly to Grok Bot, and your Bot can work in it.
Does Grok Bot have a Notion or Slack connector?
Yes, both are in Cursor’s marketplace, along with Linear, Airtable, Monday and ClickUp. A Bot can also live in Slack itself as a Team Bot.
Why is a plugin missing or disabled in my Grok Bot?
On a team plan, Grok Bot follows your Cursor connector policy, and a blocked plugin shows as Disabled by team admin. An admin changes it from the Plugins & MCPs page of the Cursor dashboard, not from Grok Bot.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
