Connect Multiple Outlook Accounts to Grok Bot
Grok Bot can reach several Outlook mailboxes, but every Bot on your account shares one browser and one set of signed-in sessions, so the mailboxes stop being separable. Why Outlook makes this sharper
Microsoft identities are the ones people most often need kept apart. A personal Outlook address, a Microsoft 365 mailbox at your employer, and a client tenant you have been guested into are three different trust boundaries, and tenant admins tend to have opinions about all three.
Grok Bot holds none of that separation. Per SpaceXAI’s documentation on the shared computer, browser cookies and signed-in sessions are shared across every Bot on your account, files are visible to all of them, and installed connectors are account-wide. Signing in for one Bot makes the session available to the others, and the docs state that separate Bots are “not separate security boundaries.”
So three Microsoft sign-ins inside Grok Bot means three live sessions on one machine that any Bot can drive. There is no per-mailbox routing.

1. Give each Outlook account a role

Names like Personal, Main Company, and Client read better in everyday requests than “Outlook 1.” Keep the full address for anything that changes a mailbox.
2. Connect the first Outlook account to Carly
Open carlyassistant.com/integrations, find Outlook, and click Connect. Authorize the first Microsoft account and confirm the address that comes back is the one you intended.
If the mailbox belongs to a managed tenant, the consent screen may say approval is required from an administrator. That is a tenant policy rather than a failure, and it is worth resolving before you connect the rest.
3. Add the remaining Outlook accounts
Repeat the Outlook connection for every other Microsoft identity. Microsoft is stickier than Google here: it will silently reuse whichever account your browser already holds, so sign out of the Microsoft session between accounts, or use a separate browser profile, and enter the next address deliberately.
Confirm the full address after each authorization. Repeated re-authentication against the same tenant is the most common way people end up with two connections to one mailbox and none to the second.
4. Add Carly to Grok Bot
Grok Bot connects to tools through plugins and MCP servers. Open settings with Cmd/Ctrl+,, go to Plugins, and add Carly’s MCP server, completing browser authentication if requested. Installed plugins appear under Yours, and individual tools can be enabled or disabled.
Two caveats before you start. On a team plan, MCP policy is inherited from Cursor, and a team setting controls whether members can add their own servers, so an administrator can block this outright. And because installed connectors are account-wide, adding Carly makes it available to every Bot on your account.
5. Keep approvals on for anything that sends
Grok Bot supports Auto-review rules, and Require Approval rules always stop matching actions. Add one for sending external email before giving a Bot access to several mailboxes. Reads and searches then run freely, while a send from a client tenant gets stopped in front of you.
An approval covers the proposed action only. It does not reverse work already completed, so the rule belongs in place before the first real task, not after the first mistake.
6. Test read-only, then route by address
Start with something harmless in each mailbox:
Search Client for unread messages from the last two days and list the senders. Do not reply to anything.
Then draft in each one, checking the from-address every time. Once reads look right across all three, name the target account on every instruction that sends, moves, categorizes, or touches a calendar:
Draft a reply from Main Company to this morning’s thread from the procurement lead, and leave it in drafts for me to review.
Naming the mailbox every time is what prevents a reply leaving from the wrong tenant. Because Grok Bot keeps every session in one shared browser, an unnamed instruction is genuinely ambiguous.
