Introducing CarlyEvents: Invitations, RSVPs, and an API
CarlyEvents is a new way to invite people to something: a real invitation you would be happy to send, a guest list that keeps itself organized, and RSVPs that arrive without anyone downloading an app.
There are 48 occasions to start from, each with 11 designs, covering birthdays and weddings and dinner parties as easily as run clubs, product launches, and team offsites. Change the colors, the words, and the details, or upload your own HTML and start from scratch. Guests get a link. That is all they need.
The guest list runs itself
Import a spreadsheet, then organize people with households and tags. Send invitations, reminders, and updates from one place, with delivery and open activity attached to each name. Collect RSVPs with plus-ones, custom questions, and a waitlist when the event fills. Check people in from a phone at the door.
Or hand the whole thing to Claude
Every one of those operations is available over MCP, which is the part we are most pleased with. Connect it once:
claude mcp add --transport http carly-events \
https://carlyevents.com/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer evk_your_key"
Then talk to it:
“Duplicate last quarter’s launch, add my co-hosts, and import the guest list. Don’t send yet.”
“Make Saturday’s run club public, add a pace question, and remind only the people who haven’t replied.”
That is 59 tools across designing invitations, importing guests, sending mail, tracking replies and opens, and running check-in. ChatGPT works the same way, and there is a REST API at /v1 on the same key if you would rather script it.
Mail is the one thing an agent never does quietly. Sending invitations, messaging guests, scheduling reminders, and cancelling are all explicit calls; everything else is safe to run while you are still deciding. Creating an event returns a one-time open_url that signs you in and shows the invitation exactly as it will go out, with one button to send it. We would rather hand you that link than send on your behalf.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
