Claude + dotloop: Connect Your Loops to Claude
dotloop doesn’t offer a Claude connector, and it hasn’t published an MCP server. Its API is real and covers loops, documents, participants and tasks, but dotloop approves API access app by app instead of handing out keys. Book a call and we’ll connect dotloop to Carly with you, then add the Carly connector to Claude and your transactions are in the chat.
Where dotloop stands with Claude
As of October 16, 2026, there’s no dotloop connector in Claude and no official dotloop MCP server.
The dotloop API (version 2) reaches the parts of a transaction an agent or TC works in every day: loops and their details (property address, price, contract and closing dates), folders and documents, participants such as buyers, sellers, lenders and title, task lists, contacts and loop templates. Apps sign in on your behalf with OAuth, so you approve access with your own dotloop login and can revoke it later.
What dotloop doesn’t offer is a key you can copy from settings. An app registers with dotloop first and gets its credentials after review. That’s why this connection starts with a call instead of a paste.

What Claude can do with dotloop once Carly is in
- “Which of my loops close this month, and what’s still missing in each?”
- “Who’s the title officer on 22 Oak Street, and what’s their email?”
- “Create a loop for Emily Parker’s purchase of 9 Birch Lane from my buyer template.”
- “Which tasks are overdue across my active loops?”
With your Gmail or Outlook connected in Carly too, Claude can find the lender’s last email about a loop before it drafts the next one.
Where Claude stops
Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in dotloop can start one. An accepted offer that needs a loop today, an inspection deadline on Thursday, a closing your broker needs on the monthly report: all of it waits for you to open a chat.
Carly handles those, in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:
- When an accepted-offer email arrives, create the loop from your template and add the buyer, seller and agents.
- Every Monday at 8, email you each loop closing in the next 14 days with its open tasks.
- Three days before closing, email the buyer a reminder with the time and place from your calendar.
- On the 1st, send your broker last month’s closings with price and commission.
Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update your CRM, add the closing to your calendar or post to your team’s Slack. You set it up in plain English. Routine steps run as free Zapier-style workflows; work that needs judgment runs as an AI agent. Free Zapier-style workflows; AI agents from $35/month. Get started with Carly.

FAQ
Does Claude work with dotloop?
Not directly. dotloop has no Claude connector and no official MCP server. Connect dotloop to Carly, add the Carly connector to Claude, and Claude can work with your loops.
Why can’t I just paste a dotloop API key?
dotloop doesn’t issue keys from your account settings. Apps register with dotloop and get credentials after review, and you then approve the app with your own dotloop login. We handle the first part on the call.
Can my transaction coordinator use it too?
Yes. Each person approves access with their own dotloop login, so Claude sees the loops that person can see in dotloop.
Can Carly build a loop when an offer is accepted?
Yes. When the accepted-offer email arrives, Carly creates the loop from your template and adds the participants, with no chat open and your laptop closed.

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.
Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.
On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
