An inbox split into sorted folders with half-written reply drafts stacked beside it, one magnifying glass hovering over a draft

Fyxer AI Review (2026): Drafts, Sorting, Notes, Billing

Fyxer sits on top of your Gmail or Outlook inbox, sorts incoming mail into folders, and leaves a reply draft waiting under the emails it thinks need an answer. It also sends a bot into your meetings to take notes.

It grew fast: run-rate revenue went from $1M to over $17M in the first eight months of 2025. Its reviews are split between “saves me hours” and “hid my important emails.”

The short verdict: Fyxer suits a professional with one busy inbox and a lot of repetitive, similar-looking email, who is happy to review every draft before it goes out. The catch is that the drafts and the sorting only work well for some inboxes, and the per-seat billing has produced a steady stream of surprise-charge complaints. If you want an assistant that finishes the job (books the meeting, sends the follow-up, runs the workflow) instead of leaving drafts for you, compare Carly.

What Fyxer actually does

Inbox sorting. Fyxer tags each incoming email with a priority category such as “To respond,” “FYI,” “Notification” or “Marketing,” using labels in Gmail and folders or color categories in Outlook. A setting decides how much leaves your inbox: “Focused” keeps only To respond and FYI emails and files the rest away. You can correct a wrong label and add custom rules for specific senders.

Reply drafts. For emails it thinks need an answer, Fyxer writes a draft in your tone and saves it in your email client’s drafts. A “response style” setting controls how often it drafts, and unused drafts are deleted after 14 days by default (adjustable from 1 to 30). You can upload files for it to draw on.

Meeting notetaker. A bot joins Zoom, Teams or Google Meet calls from your calendar, records and transcribes them, then emails you a summary with action items. It records up to two hours per meeting, and on Zoom and Teams the host often has to admit it from the waiting room. A Mac and Windows desktop app records from your computer instead, without joining the call.

Scheduling. Fyxer either drafts a reply proposing times from your live calendar or includes your booking link. The help center is explicit that “You always review and send the draft – nothing is sent automatically.”

Chat and Flows. On Professional, Fyxer Chat answers questions across your inbox, meeting notes and files. Flows, still rolling out gradually, run preset jobs like a morning briefing. Fyxer also added a Slack and Microsoft Teams app in August 2026.

What users say about Fyxer

Fyxer has 740 reviews and a TrustScore of 4 on Trustpilot as of September 28, 2026: 469 five-star and 128 one- or two-star. The quotes below are copied verbatim from those reviews.

Where it earns its price

  • “It really saves me time by sorting my email and pre-writing my responses.” (Trustpilot, September 2026)
  • “Fyxer has been a huge help with keeping my inbox clean and organized. It saves me several hours a week with the draft emails responses it composes.” (Trustpilot, July 2026)
  • “The tech support team at Fyxer is beyond great! They get back quickly, and they are as patient as they are knowledgeable.” (Trustpilot, September 2026)

Our read: the happy reviews center on time saved and on fast, human support.

How accurate the drafts are

  • “Auto-respond drafts are pretty good about 50% of the time. Calendar integration needs lots of work.” (Trustpilot, January 2026)
  • “…if you have a lot of variability in your job and requiring longer responses, it was more time consuming to manage the drafts than to just reply from scratch.” (Trustpilot, January 2026)

Our read: draft quality depends on how repetitive your email is. Fyxer’s replies to these reviews almost always point to the Custom Tone and Custom Files settings, which suggests the out-of-the-box drafts need tuning.

Where people get stuck: sorting

  • “There were too many categories to track, too many folders to look in, and I was still missing important emails.” (a user who switched to Superhuman after six months, January 2026)
  • “I couldnt find several important emails after fyxer organized them. It would move things from my inbox that I kept there on purpose.” (Trustpilot, April 2026)

Our read: mis-filed email is the most common product complaint. When a category is set to leave the inbox, a wrong call hides the email instead of just labelling it badly.

The meeting notetaker

  • “Wish fyxer could split the meeting stuff from the inbox stuff. (and charge accordingly) Inbox stuff is useless. While the Afrikaans meeting transcriptions add a lot of value.” (Trustpilot, May 2026)
  • “You rarely if ever actually record and take notes in zoom meetings. I always get an email saying there was some error.” (Trustpilot, January 2026)

Our read: when the bot gets in, the transcripts are well liked, and Fyxer’s transcript language list is long. Fyxer’s own help center lists waiting rooms, Teams tenant policies and missing meeting links as common reasons the bot can’t join.

Fyxer pricing in brief

As listed on September 28, 2026: Starter is $30 per user per month ($22.50 billed annually) for one inbox and calendar. Professional is $50 per user per month ($37.50 annually) and adds multiple inboxes, scheduling, Fyxer Chat, HubSpot and file uploads. Enterprise is custom pricing for 50+ users. There’s a 7-day trial and no free plan. For seat math, trial terms, refunds and worked examples, read our Fyxer AI pricing breakdown.

Problems and limits

  • Surprise seat charges. Billing is per seat, and a setting called “Automatically add users for this domain” adds any colleague who signs up with your company domain as a paid seat. Fyxer’s own help center calls it “the number one cause of unexpected multi-seat charges.” One reviewer wrote that it “resulted in additional paid seats being created even though those users had not been explicitly invited or knowingly approved by our management.”
  • Drafts only, never sends. Fyxer states plainly that it “never sends calendar invites automatically,” and it doesn’t send email either. Every reply and every booking still needs you.
  • No shared inboxes. info@, sales@ and support@ mailboxes are not supported. Fyxer connects to one person’s inbox at a time.
  • Setup limits. No Apple Mail, IMAP, GoDaddy-hosted Microsoft 365 or on-premise Exchange.
  • Getting your data out. A paying customer since January 2025 said that when they asked for a bulk export of two years of transcripts, “their support team responded by telling me to download each transcript one by one.”

Is Fyxer safe? Privacy and data

Fyxer says it holds SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001 certification, is GDPR compliant, and offers HIPAA compliance on Enterprise. Its help center says customer data is stored in the EU (Belgium and the Netherlands) on Google Cloud and that your emails and meetings are not used to train shared AI models. In its Microsoft 365 App Certification filing, Fyxer says it stores “all data that the client currently uses their e-mail, calendar or online meetings process,” keeps it for less than 60 days after account termination, and does transfer customer data to sub-processors. In other words, Fyxer holds your mail and meeting content, not just metadata.

Fyxer gives you a better inbox: sorted mail and pre-written replies, with you still sending every email and invite. Carly is delegation. CC Carly on a thread and it books the meeting, including the reschedule two days later. Booking pages cover people who’d rather pick a slot, and a new email or form submission can kick off a workflow that updates your CRM or pings Slack. If the back-and-forth and follow-through slow you down more than typing replies, Carly covers more of it.

If a bundled notetaker matters most, Fyxer includes one. Carly works alongside the recorder you already use, such as Fathom, Fireflies or Granola.

Who should use Fyxer, and who should look elsewhere

Fyxer fits if you:

  • Work alone in one Gmail or Microsoft 365 inbox with lots of similar, routine email
  • Want every reply drafted but prefer to send each one yourself
  • Want a meeting notetaker bundled into the same subscription

Look elsewhere if you:

  • Use Apple Mail, IMAP or a shared support@ inbox
  • Need meetings booked and invites sent without you (Carly does this)
  • Run a team and don’t want to police seat settings

FAQ

Is Fyxer AI worth it? For routine, high-volume email, many reviewers say yes. For varied, long-form email, several found fixing drafts slower than writing them. Test the 7-day trial on your real inbox first. If you’d rather hand off whole tasks than review drafts, try Carly.

Is Fyxer safe to connect to my email? Fyxer reports SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certification, EU data storage, and no training of shared models on your data. Per its Microsoft certification filing, it stores your email, calendar and meeting data and keeps it for less than 60 days after you close your account.

Does Fyxer work with Outlook? Yes, on Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online, including new Outlook for Mac and Windows and Outlook on the web. On-premise Exchange, hybrid setups and GoDaddy-hosted Microsoft 365 are not supported.

Can Fyxer send emails or book meetings for me? No. Fyxer only drafts. You review and send every reply, and it never sends calendar invites automatically. Carly can reply for you and book meetings end to end when you CC it. For team rollouts, book a call with the Carly team.

What happens to my inbox if I cancel Fyxer? Fyxer says deleting your account reverts your inbox, and you can choose to remove or keep the folders and labels it created. It doesn’t delete your emails.

Does Fyxer work with Apple Mail? No. Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Spark, Superhuman and IMAP inboxes are on Fyxer’s unsupported list.

See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
