Can Claude Cowork Connect to Multiple Outlook Accounts?
No, Claude Cowork cannot connect to multiple Outlook accounts. Cowork runs on Claude’s Microsoft 365 connector, which signs in one Microsoft work account. Authorizing a second organization replaces the first, and its calendar, OneDrive and SharePoint go with it.

Do this instead
- Connect each Outlook address at carlyassistant.com/integrations. Every organization, plus Gmail and personal Outlook.com addresses if you have them.
- In Claude, click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in with your Carly account.
- In the Cowork task’s + menu, choose Connectors and turn Carly on.

Why Cowork makes the one-account limit worse
In a chat, a missing mailbox is something you notice. In Cowork it is something you don’t, because the task runs on a schedule while you are somewhere else. A 7am briefing that can only see one organization reports “nothing urgent” every morning while a client in your other tenant waits on a reply.
The native Outlook path has three more limits, all in Anthropic’s own setup guide:
- Personal addresses are out. The connector requires a Microsoft Entra tenant on a Microsoft Business plan, so @outlook.com and @hotmail.com cannot connect at all.
- Writing can be switched off. Organizations that had the connector before write tools launched start with them blocked until an administrator turns them on. A consultant working inside a client’s tenant rarely gets that done.
- No attachments. Sending, forwarding and drafting all reject a message with an attachment, so the contract or the invoice never leaves.
