Claude + Cloudbeds: Connect Your Property to Claude

Cloudbeds doesn’t offer a Claude connector, and it hasn’t published an MCP server. It does let any property admin create an API key, right in Apps & Marketplace. Connect that key to Carly, add the Carly connector to Claude, and your reservations, guests and rooms are in the chat.

Where Cloudbeds stands with Claude

As of October 16, 2026, there’s no Cloudbeds connector in Claude and no official Cloudbeds MCP server.

The Cloudbeds API is broad: reservations, guest profiles and notes, rooms and room types, rates and availability, housekeeping status, payments and folio items, groups and allotment blocks. Cloudbeds describes its API as “primarily a self-service feature for properties,” so you don’t need to join a partner program to use it for your own hotel, hostel or vacation rental. API keys don’t expire on a schedule. A key that goes unused for 30 days stops working, and you create a new one.

How to connect Cloudbeds to Claude through Carly

  1. Create an API key. In Cloudbeds, go to Account → Apps & Marketplace → API Credentials and click + New Credentials. Choose the permissions you want Claude to have, confirm with your Cloudbeds login, and copy the key. Cloudbeds shows it only once. The user creating it needs the “API and Integration” role.
  2. Connect Cloudbeds in Carly. In Carly, go to Integrations → Connect an API and connect Cloudbeds there.
  3. Add Carly to Claude. Click Get the Carly connector, then Connect, and sign in.
  4. Ask Claude about your property. It answers through the Carly connector with live Cloudbeds data.

What Claude can do with Cloudbeds once Carly is in

  • “Who arrives today, which rooms are they in, and who still has a balance due?”
  • “Which rooms are still dirty with a 3 pm check-in?”
  • “Add a note to Emily Parker’s reservation: arriving late, around 11 pm.”
  • “What’s our occupancy for the next two weekends, and which room types are sold out?”

With your Gmail or Outlook connected in Carly too, Claude can match a guest’s email to their reservation in one step.

Where Claude stops

Claude answers when you ask. Its scheduled tasks run on a clock, and nothing in Cloudbeds can start one. A guest emailing for early check-in, a late booking for tonight, a housekeeper who needs the day’s room list before 8: all of it waits for someone to open a chat.

Carly handles those, in the cloud, on a schedule you set or when an email comes in:

  • Every morning at 7, pull today’s departures and arrivals and email housekeeping the room list in cleaning order.
  • When a guest emails asking for early check-in, check the room’s status and draft a reply you can send with one click.
  • Two days before arrival, send each guest your directions, parking and door code instructions from your own email.
  • Every Monday, email the owner last week’s occupancy and revenue by room type.

Carly connects to thousands of apps, so the same workflow can update your bookkeeping, post to your team’s Slack or add a task for maintenance. You set it up in plain English. FAQ

Does Claude work with Cloudbeds?

Not directly. Cloudbeds has no Claude connector and no official MCP server. Connect Cloudbeds to Carly with an API key, add the Carly connector to Claude, and Claude can work with your Cloudbeds data.

Where do I create a Cloudbeds API key?

In Cloudbeds under Account → Apps & Marketplace → API Credentials. Click + New Credentials, pick the permissions, and copy the key when it appears.

Do I need to become a Cloudbeds technology partner?

No. The partner program is for software companies that serve many properties. For your own property, a self-service API key is enough.

Can one key cover more than one property?

Yes. When you create the key, tick Enable for entire organization and it covers every property in your Cloudbeds organization.

See what people say

"Before Carly, I relied on a Calendly link, but the whole process felt impersonal and not very professional. Carly changed that by handling all the back-and-forth, so I'm no longer stuck in endless email threads trying to line up schedules.

Now Carly reaches out to candidates, shares my real-time availability, lets them pick a slot, then sends a Zoom link and drops it straight into my calendar. She sends reminders to both of us before each call, which has significantly reduced no-shows and last-minute confusion.

On top of scheduling, Carly acts like a full executive assistant, sending me my schedule the night before so I can prepare for each call. It reminds me of the old x.ai assistant, but Carly is noticeably smarter, faster, and better suited to my healthcare recruitment business."
