How to Connect Multiple Gmail Accounts to Claude

1. Give each Gmail account a role
For example, using fictional addresses:

Use Personal, Main Company, and Client rather than “Gmail 1” and “Gmail 2.” Roles read naturally in ordinary questions, and the full address is what you use for anything that changes an inbox.
2. Connect the first Gmail account to Carly

- Complete authorization.
- Verify the full address before adding another.
Nothing is merged or forwarded. Each mailbox keeps its own credentials, and Carly keeps them addressable by name.
4. Add Carly to Claude
- Open Settings → Connectors in Claude.
- Choose Add custom connector.

If the option is missing on a Team or Enterprise plan, the workspace administrator may need to allow custom connectors first.
5. Keep approval on while testing
Claude asks before a connector changes external data. Leave that on while the routing is new:
- Open Settings → Connectors.

- Review which tools are enabled.
- Keep approval required for sends and other changes.
This puts the target account in front of you before anything consequential runs.
6. Test every address read-only first
Start with one inbox per prompt:
