Perplexity With Multiple Accounts (2026)
Perplexity’s connectors are documented one account at a time, and the calendar half says so in as many words: one primary calendar. Connect every account to Carly, add Carly as one custom remote connector, and a single thread reaches all of them.

Two limits stack here rather than one. The account count is the obvious one. The write path is the other: reading two inboxes would still leave the replying to you.
What one Perplexity thread can do afterwards

- Draft or send from the exact address you name.
- File, label, or archive in the correct account.
- Create and move events on any connected calendar, not just a primary one.

1. Connect every account to Carly
- Sign in at carlyassistant.com.
- Open carlyassistant.com/integrations.
- Find Gmail or Outlook, click Connect, and approve access.
- Click Connect again for the next account, choosing Use another account if the first login is preselected, and keep going for as many as you want.
- Repeat for Calendar on each account that has one.
A Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account may need administrator review. Ask that administrator to approve the connection, then finish authorization. Each organization approves independently, so one company declining does not block the others.

2. Add Carly as a custom remote connector
Perplexity shipped Bring Your Own Connector for Pro, Max, and Enterprise subscribers in March 2026.

There is no such thing as an MCP trigger. The protocol's own working group says plainly that clients learn about server-side changes by polling for them, and a real event mechanism remains unshipped. Carly is where that part lives, watching thousands of apps and starting the work itself.
